Foreclosure Resource Center:  This outstanding resource from the Federal Reserve not only provides answers to your questions, but links that can help some consumers save their homes.  If you are facing foreclosure, please visit this excellent site.

The Home Ownership Center:  Interfaith Community Housing of Delaware offers HUD-approved home ownership education.  Their goal is to suggest a plan of action to assist you in becoming a successful home owner.

The Housing Clinic:  Delaware Community Reinvestment Action Council offers free information and contacts for foreclosure prevention, sheriff sales, property tax exemptions, mortgage assistance, and affordable housing.

Housing Counseling:  The First State Community Action Agency offers pre-purchase home ownership counseling, mortgage default counseling, rental/rental delinquency counseling and more at a nominal fee.

Weatherization:  This page, also from the First State Community Action Agency, explains the First State’s Weatherization Assistance Program aimed at helping low-income families to permanently reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy-efficient.
